Sometimes getting a second place gives you that determination to get back up their in the winners place. You certainly redeemed yourself at the Inter Intermediate Cross country. Well done.

Patrick… it is so amazing how much your school and mine have in common! We also do the Cross Country which 3 km. As I read this wonderful post, I could actually feel you wheezing, just as I always do when I run because I have mild asthma, and the others in front of you. In the end, I was disappointed that you came second because you have such great spirit and you’ve done a magnificent effort! I really wish you cam first, but you tried your best and came 2nd, so you should be proud.
Did you make it to the next round? I hope you did because you deserve it!!!
P.S You were so extra creative imagining a lion behind you to sprint. I should try that myself, thanks for the idea! I can’t believe Reid actually made it first.

Patrick you must take more care with your writing – check it carefully before pressing ‘publish’. You have a few sentences that are missing capitals! That is just careless!!
